Red Eyebrows

After dying my hair I wasn't very happy that my eyebrows didn't match. Knowing that the salon couldn't dye my brows, I did a little googling and decided to bleach them myself using Jolen. It was a little risky but after a few two minute bleaching sessions, I finally reached the right shade of blonde. Once I got my brows light enough, I went to Sephora to buy some light auburn eyebrow powder. I'm quite happy with the results.

gosh I remember when I was blonde my stylist REFUSED to make my brows lighter, it was awful. So I just did the dark brows, but I only kept the blonde for a few months so I guess it didnt matter. I guess they pretty much arent allowed to bleach brows, they can be sued right?
i have to fill mine in everyday b/c my dyed dark locks don't match my natural blond brows! its a pain but totally work it ;)

I'm really impressed with this. I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to dye my eye brows. They match very nicely.

I have consistently had the same problem since I dye my hair sososo much (I'm a wannabe redhead too!) The bleaching scares me a little bit, but I'm definitely going to consider giving it a try since your eyebrows turned out so lovely!

I'm naturally blonde, but I dye my hair red, so I naturally have really light eyebrows. I use eyebrow powder to do the same thing to mine :)
I'm so glad you posted this! I have really (I mean REALLY) dark brows, and it's always made me hesitant to try light or red haircolor. This looks like the perfect solution!

Your eyebrows came out PERFECT. To be honest, I stared at the bleached eyebrow photos and then the one with the eyebrow powder on it and I could barely see a difference! If I had to do that myself...I'd probably have to shave my eyebrows off, haha.

this is the same problem i had when i dyed my hair red! i fill mine in with auburn shadow, too. seems to do the trick!

looks very natural! Weird, in the past my stylists never had a problem dying my brows. Perhaps they're worried of getting it in your eyes?

I've been bleaching my eyebrows for years using Jolen creme bleach. My eyebrows are practically black, and my hair is a medium brown. I usually leave the cream on for about 5-6 minutes, and that just makes them a wee bit lighter.
Pretty insignificant difference overall, but to me, it makes a huge difference!!

Oh Maria, your hair looks so beautiful!! And this is a great idea for eyebrows.. when I first dyed my hair, I thought they didn't match either but my color has settled on a more auburn shade now so it fits! Only warning about the red, it fades fast, even with color safe shampoo!

my problem is the opposite: my eyebrows are not dark enough for my hair which is much easier to conceal.

I used to dye mine black (when I dyed my hair black obviously) and the other half was forever in stitches seeing me with the dye on my brows :)

the brows are definitely looking more POW! now. I used to do the opposite - have my eyebrows darkened. Oddly they are a lighter blonde than my natural blonde. Now I just let 'em go!

Wow! I think you look amazing! Nice work, Maria! I've tried to pull off red hair numerous times and it always looked funny ... I think its because I was in the same boat with the dark eyebrows and red hair combo.
