A Leopard in the Woods
So my plans for a calm quiet weekend didn't really pan out. Friday night, we went out to dinner for Cole's sister's birthday. It was a lovely time even if the restaurant was overheating thanks to a broken thermostat. The strawberry limoncello cocktails I was consuming helped to keep me cool. On Saturday night, Cole and I met up with my parents for dinner at the Jolly Pumpkin and a movie premiere at the Michigan Theater for The Art of Power. One of Cole's classmates helped produce the movie and also had a small cameo. The movie was depressing but very good. On Sunday morning, Cole and I and his family went to see the HP movie. Man I cried like a baby. Also very good and I can't wait for the second installment. So all in all a very good weekend, just not the staying-at-home-and-sleeping-all-day weekend like I was hoping for.
