iPhone Photos: Turntable
After years of debating with myself, I finally caved and bought a turntable. The problem was that I couldn't decide if I wanted a vintage one or a new one but I eventually compromised and bought a new one with a vintage look. ;) I really loved the design and concept of the Crosley traveler turntable and after reading all the reviews decided to go for it. Since my parent's won't bequeath their awesome record collection to me, I decided my first purchases should be The National High Violet LP and the She & Him Thieves 45. I've already listened to them a dozen times! Need to add more to my collection...

Random Pip and Wellie cuteness...

Hope you all had a great weekend!
Yours,

I had a record player when I was little, and all the other kids had tapes. I was the coolest! Anyway, good choice-- hopefully your parents will see the light and bequeath their collection to you someday. :-)
I wish I would have known about this! My brother just threw out about 200 records. Yep, he wasted alot. I wasn't there this weekend to stop him. He used to work at the radio station at his college and had a full turntable set up too. Good luck with the turntable! Are we going to be hearing any of you soon??
Wellie and Pip, Can't get enough of them.

See, you just have to use my sister's techniques. She just quietly takes things from my parents and they make her give them back when they notice. Most of the time she gets away with it.
Oooh, nice! Have fun with it! I'd love to get a new record player soon. My grandparents gave me a stack of old records, and I can't listen to them!
cute doggies!
Ah what a great buy! Records are so much fun. Nice start to your collection too! :) Also, super cute pooches. Also, SO excited for your new shoot! x
Oh love it!
Hi to Pip and Wellie :)
xoxo
This is fabulous. I am after a turntable too, but think I will hold out until I have the space for a big old radiogram. I had one when I was a teenager listening to my parents old vinyl when everyone else had ghetto blasters and tapes, so I would love to relive that!

I love record players! Yours look like a very great buy. Oh and your dogs are sooo cute. Lucky you! I'm looking forward to your Photo shoot of today. xx, Alice :)
oh! Makes me want to go get my records and player from my parents house and go through them all again! I got mine for free outside a thrift store! The power button is broken, but beggars can't be choosers!
Love yours yhough! hmm maybe time for me to upgrade!
Ayesha xx
turntables are definitely where it's at! my boyfriend and i often have vinyl parties and get our friends to bring round their favourites lps for us all to listen and dance and drink to.
collecting vintage vinyl can quickly become a full-blown obsession though. don't say i didn't warn you!
Love, love, love your new turntable! So fun and it's easy to find amazing records from all eras dirt cheap.
I need a turntable. I have all my records at my best friends house. I also can use my dad's old records. The one you have looks pretty.
Ohhhh! Love it! I had a vintage one that looked like that when I was little...
A couple of weeks ago, I told David that I wanted a vintage one without knowing they made vintage looking new ones, haha. He said that was probably a better idea. We'll get it once I'm settled there :).
Have a great week!
Miki.
