Lulu Letty: Lovely packages

Lovely packages

The best things about coming home after a long trip are all the wonderful letters, magazines and packages awaiting my return. Here are a few of the goodies I received...

Lovely Packages
Maroon knit tights c/o ModCloth.
Lovely Packages
A gorgeous porcelain necklace and bobby pins c/o Redraven Studios.
Lovely Packages
I found a lovingly used Molly on eBay. I think she looks like me, plus she will be best friends with Kirsten.
Lovely Packages
I bought the two brooches from Louise and she surprised me with the swallow necklace.
Lovely Packages
Lena Hoschek's A/W catalog and the amazing Take Ivy book from '65 is now in English.
...
I'm hoping Cole will have time for a shoot tonight after school. My poor overworked husband.

Yours,
Maria Sig 2

It must have been fun opening all those packages! I had the Molly doll too. Growing up, my sister and I read all of the American Girl books. It's fun to have diversions as a grad student! Maybe Cole will enjoy it the different activity!

have a great night,
nancy

Yay I love packages too :) It's like Christmas! Haha I really wanted a Samantha doll growing up, but Molly was my second favorite :) I also really liked reading the book series.

You do look like a living Molly doll with your porcelain skin, big green eyes, and gorgeous wavy locks.

I'm still waiting to get my hands on the Baby-sitters Club dolls. One of these days all seven will be mine, and I will throw the biggest 90s themed slumber party, like, ever!

Isn't getting packages the best?! It's way better than actually going into a shop and buying something. All of your things look lovely Maria, the tights are such a great colour and I'm loving the Redraven shop!

Looking forward to seeing them in outfit posts!

Packages are the best aren't they? It's a nice way to spice up life.

My Samantha doll could be friends with your Molly and Kirsten. I was obsessed with the books!

Aw, American Girls dolls!! Funny you have Kirsten and Molly because the way you style your hair a lot reminds me of Samantha (she was my fave) :)

What gorgeous packages to open!! They must have been the nicest surprise. I love that broach with the chains off it, and that porcelain necklace is divine. I love the stuff from Redraven Studios.

I love your love of American Girl dolls! Your new Molly looks gorgeous...I hope those two stay out of trouble!

Passport Smiles  – (September 9, 2010 11:56 PM)

That's hilarious about Molly. You really do look like her. Molly was my favorite when I was a child... I had all the outfits. Recently, I visited the American-girl-doll shop in Chicago. It was quite nostalgic for me.

Louise  – (September 11, 2010 4:00 AM)

She does look like you! How adorable. I'm really glad that you like the swallow necklace, I thought you would :)
