definitely geek chic! love it all! the weather here has been more cold strangely. it even rained today! i did enjoy getting back into tights again but i really want some hot weather!
This post is so beautiful. I've always wanted to take photos at sunset but never knew how they would turn out... and this is the perfect example of how to do it right. Not to mention your vest is so pretty.

Whoa these photos are absolutely breathtaking, Maria! The sunset is just stunning behind you and your silhouette is gorgeous! I love the fall, I wish San Francisco had a distinct fall season, but it's usually the warmest season. I would love to experience fall in New York, I want to see the leaves change into orange and fall off the trees. It's quite chilly and sometimes freezing during the "summer" in San Francisco, so I can afford to wear layers! You look very scholarly in these photos, love your look as usual :)

I'm the same. It's winter here at the moment and I am enjoying layering like crazy and wearing my boots/cardigans/scarves/coats. I'm not looking forward to summer all that much and uncovering my perpetually pale skin...

Yes I have some problems with summer too but oh girl, you shouldn't wear those socks at least!!! But I have to admit, they look so good all together! I loved your bag and shoes a lot! I may male a similar outfit soon but without socks! :)

I'm the same! I'm always about fall. While summer is simple, a t-shirt and some shorts, I'm always thinking about the waistcoat I could put on top of it, or the tights I could layer underneath it. I really like your waistcoat, by the way!
I've found myself looking at fall things just this week as it happens. It's like the minute summer establishes itself properly I start thinking about the greener grass on the other side. So strange! Lovely waistcoat!
I love this outfit!! So cute and pretty! The vest is amazing, but I can see how tweed can be a little hot for summer.
It seems I never get sick of the Nationals... and yes, I am jealous to see some of the SF bloggers in layers, tights etc. while we are stuck with this heat but kudos to you for still looking so adorable

I have the same problem! I just bought two pairs of leather gloves today and I already can't wait to wear them! That's why the cold weather is great, you can wear more things! Love the bag too, I've been meaning to get one of those for a long time, they're such beautiful bags.

I totally have that problem too! I fond it so hard to look nice in the hot hot summer and can't wait to be able to layer nicely in the autumn. You seem to pull it off alright though! I love this outfit and can totally empathise x
Love the look. Honestly, I think summer is the best. I just like have my legs and arms bear all the time. I can't stand covering up or putting on layers. Even when it's 60F I'll wear shorts or skirt with long socks like yours.

Summer is absolutely my favorite time of year. I love the simplicity of everything right now! Dressing, eating, putting on makeup and doing hair - it all gets simplified!
But...I have been struck with some winter lusting lately. Booking tickets for a Scandinavian Xmas will do that to you.
