Is it weird how much I love Millicent? I truly missed taking her out for a spin when I was sick. She's just so beautiful, that I get such a kick just looking at her. Ok, now I do sound weird. ;) But in all seriousness, she is my dream bicycle.
There were so many speeding pickup trucks on the road that we decided it would be safer to take Millie on this field. It was safer, but not easy to ride around on. I had a hard time steering on the grass. In that last picture I'm laughing because I almost ran over Cole!

Oh you look so cute! I adore your bike and it's cute wicker basket! I really need to find an amazing bike, the one I have is a tacky purple mountain bike from 5th grade.. haha. Maybe one day!
I am the same way about my Etienne. When I first bought her I kept her inside, sittig next to the dining room for a month before allowing her to be stored outside. Bikes are so much fun! I love that yours is vintage.

HAHA that made me laugh, you are just so adorable! I would love to have a bike like yours and ride around town like that [with my hubby] :)! The only thing is everyone would stare like we were crazy because it's uncommon for people to ride bikes in our area. Weird, I know!

Beautiful photos!! I had a bike just like her when i stayed in Holland where my boyfriend was working, it was so high up my feet barely touched the ground, but it was great, everyone used bikes over there to get around and the cycle lanes made it so safe and easy! Your photos make me miss riding a bike daily! x

My bike was named 'Old Nellie' I got her at a police auction in Heidelberg for about $7.00 US. She had a light and a basket. I couldn't take her with me when I came back to the States, so I gave her to a friend. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

Your bike is perfect! I totally wish I had a field to ride in, I'm too afraid to ride on the streets of Williamsburg, I have no coordination and my helmut sucks-its too big...so instead I opt to get around by foot. Maybe one day I'll become brave enough to bust out my bike and give the speedy trucks a run for their money. (probably not)
