Man, was it a beautiful Sunday. A perfect day for a picnic, and that's just what Cole, Millie and I did. After the picnic we went on a grueling bike ride and now I'm quite tired.

Mikey and I love days like this too. Yesterday we had a lovely day walking through a forest, its so nice to get away from everything and everyone for a day.
I Like your cute little dress, but was it hard to ride your bike in it?

Justice Pirate  – (May 17, 2010 6:16 AM)

Oh goodness I love your bike (again). Very cute shots. Is your ring your engagement ring (it looks like your left hand, unless it was mirrored like I know some people do in photos). If it is or isn't that is awesome, but to think that an engagement ring is a bow of diamonds is very unique. Maybe that is your wedding band even? It's cute!

Hello. I hope this finds you doing well. I've been on a blogging hiatus since the beginning of the year, so it's been quite some time since I've been around to visit some blogs. I'm back from my break now. I wanted to make sure to visit your blog. I enjoyed checking out the latest posts on your blog. Great job. I'm back blogging now myself. I hope you'll take a look at what I'm doing. Thanks. Take care. Have a great week.

Thank you for the "Pantene Beautiful Lenghts" suggestion... I'm keeping my hair long also for that reason. Since I love my hair so much, I can imagine how terrifying could be loosing them because of sickness. I hope to find the same occasion here in my city!

:) love your blog!

I can't believe you found that bag at a thrift store--it looks so fancy and sort of A.P.C.!

You and your outfit are extra cute. :)

I just discovered this blog now and am having so much fun going through your old posts.

That backpack is amazing. I was just wondering a few days ago what kind of bag I was missing. Now I know! Will have that in mind the next time I go thrifting. It's so perfect.

Also your dress looks similar to the one I just posted about!

That looks like a really delicious picnic! We have similar things for snacks here, but not on a blanket in the grass.

That's a delicious looking picnic and a delicious looking Millicent! I just bought a new bike (after someone stole my old bike, JoJo) and I'm loving it's front basket.

Beuatiful dressin this post. It looks so summery and sweet!

veronika, tick tock vintage.  – (May 17, 2010 2:03 PM)

gorgeous! did you have your bike sandblasted and then professionally painted? or did you just lightly sand and spraypaint? either way, it looks very nice.

Rosie  – (May 17, 2010 3:48 PM)

Hey! Ethan and I went picnicking too!Sunday was just gorgeous here too. I love your little documentation of it, I forgot my camera! So lovely!

MOUSEVOX VINTAGE  – (May 18, 2010 11:52 AM)

Picnicking and bike rides sound like a seriously perfect Sunday.

My weekend was really nice and quite tame. I'm getting ready to leave town for about 3 weeks, so I wanted to spend the weekend with friends and that's just what I did. :)

Kristina  – (May 18, 2010 10:56 PM)

Great pinic post. Loved everything about it. Wish I could see a close up of the shoes. I can never find cute shoes that are comfy and strong enough to stand up to a long bike ride. I had a birthday picnic this past Sunday as well. They're so fun! http://metamorphstyle.com/2010/05/when-you-wish-upon-a-star/

Jessica  – (May 19, 2010 10:05 PM)

This post is so lovely! I really adore your shoes and little backpack.

stephy  – (May 20, 2010 1:31 PM)

Love this! Especially love your ring, so so much. Have you done a post on it? I'd love to know the story.

Angelica –   – (June 22, 2010 8:27 AM)

I know what you mean about a rigorous bike ride. I had a vintage Huffy, and before that a Columbia. They were both three speeds. I loved them both, the Columbia more than the Huffy, if I am being honest. I couldn't keep up with my husband on his brand new comfort bike. Now, I have a new hybrid 21-speed bike. It's nice, but it will never be as special as my vintage ones, they just had more character.
I found your blog recently and LOVE it! I feel like we have a ton in common, but I won't get into that here. Keep posting please, and I will keep reading.
