I felt very seventies in this dress- the platforms, aviators and crazy hair all helped add to the look. I realized that I've been wearing my hair straight a lot lately, so I thought it was time to let it's natural craziness come out to play.

I think this is one of my favorite Modcloth dresses. I love the colors, I'm not a huge fan of orange, but this is the perfect shade of rust and combined with navy, white and pale blue is quite awesome :) Love the water in the background, the weather looks amazing :) You look very '70s, love it!

There's a photo of my mother from the 70s (looking very cool and beautiful, as do you) With almost the same exact dress! I've always loved it and wish she held on to it- I'm glad that there is now a similar one to buy!

I enjoy that about seaside outfits!! They're breezy. Plus, it came off looking so glamorous. Maybe it's the wavy hair? Definitely the aviators ... The dress.
