With a little snip and cuff, I took these thrifted overalls and turned them into shortalls...
And just for fun, I styled the shortalls two different, but classic, ways...
The Prepster:
jacket- F21; stripe shirt and straw madras hat- J.Crew; belt- Old Navy; vintage straw bag-eBay; aviators- Urban Outfitters; navy espadrilles- Espadrilles, etc.
The Dandy:
trench coat- Banana Republic; silk peter pan shirt- thrifted; velvet bow tie- diy; red bowler hat- H&M; vintage red purse- borrowed from mom; black Clubmaster sunglasses- Ray-Ban; Ferragamo bow flats- eBay.
