What I Wore Yesterday: 07.26.09- There are no witches in Salem just weird tourists

Photo Credits: Me & Cole. Thanks, darling!
Yesterday, was a hot sticky mess in Salem, Ma with high humidity and tourists everywhere. Being just north of Marblehead, Cole and I drive through Salem on a nearly daily basis. While it has a sordid witch hunting past, Salem still clings to it with all its might. Gimmicky shops and lame museums all hoping to wring out some cash from the silly tourists pocket's. And while I will admit to doing some of the tours when we first moved to New England, I found them all a sad disappointment that discarded the rich history for cheesy tricks.
All that being said, Salem is a gorgeous old historical town with a plethora of red brick colonial buildings. And if they focused more on their amazing maritime history and less on the witch hunting, it would be a wonderful place to visit.
